Ian Plimer

He has been an outspoken critic of both creationism and the scientific consensus on anthropogenic climate change. == Early life and education == Ian Plimer grew up in Sydney and attended Normanhurst Boys' High School. He earned a B.Sc. (Hons) in mining engineering at the University of New South Wales in 1968,〔 and a Ph.D. in Geology at Macquarie University in 1976. His doctoral thesis (from 1973) was titled, ''The pipe deposits of tungsten-molybdenum-bismuth in eastern Australia''.〔
